Short answer
Post-remediation verification (PRV), or clearance, is an independent check performed after remediation to confirm the work area is visibly clean, dry, and consistent with the remediation protocol. Sterling performs it in order, visual first, then moisture, then laboratory sampling, as a party that did not perform the remediation being verified. Every clearance includes sampling.

An area that passed the visual and moisture checks is sampled. An area with visible growth or debris has already failed and goes back for re-cleaning first.

Typical timing
Verification is performed on-site once remediation is complete and the area is dry; any lab results depend on the laboratory.
Pricing
$375 first area
$375 for the first contained area, $250 each for the second and third, and $200 each from the fourth on. The first area carries the trip, the setup, the outdoor control, and the report; the rest is marginal work. Every clearance includes laboratory sampling. A supplementary surface sample is $100. A retest of an area that failed is $245.
